The Book of Genesis in the Bible gives us the only authentic account of creation and the origin of Mankind. All the races are traced back to the original ancestors, the three sons of Noah. This study is done in the traditional Bible study format going through the Holy scriptures verse-by-verse. There is a lot for everyone to learn, a lot to gain. Times have passed since the Book of Genesis was written, but the principles contained are still applicable today. This study is foundational and essential for all people.
What you'll learn
Chapters 1 and 2 gives an outline of creation of the earth, and of man's spirit.
Chapter 2 describes creation of the angels, and creation of the complete man and woman.
Chapter 3 gives an account of the Fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, and entrance of the curses.
In chapter 4, we find the effect of sin made manifest, Cain killed his brother Abel. Cain's genealogy is outlined. We also find the origin of worship.
Chapter 5 contains an account of the generations of Adam through Seth.
Chapters 6 - 11 describes the moral decadence of man into sin, the destruction of the earth by God through Noah's worldwide flood, and the generations of Noah.
